The Capital Select branch in Dabouq represents a refined evolution of Capital Bank’s Select concept, blending the warmth of a boutique hotel with the sophistication of a private banking experience. Building on our previous work with Capital Select, this project presented a unique design challenge due to the irregular layout and numerous corners within the existing space. Through careful interior architectural planning, we transformed these constraints into opportunities, creating a cozy yet elegant environment that feels both intimate and functional.

From the moment clients enter, they are welcomed into a reception area reminiscent of a hotel lounge, while the offices are designed as independent cubical enclosures that strike a balance between openness and privacy. Located in a prime, high-traffic area of Dabouq, surrounded by shops and cafés and frequented by an elite clientele, the branch reflects both accessibility and exclusivity in its design language.

A key feature of the space is the thoughtful integration of natural lighting, which enhances the overall ambiance and reinforces the sense of openness despite the compact layout. Light is carefully drawn into the interior, softening the geometry of the space and highlighting material textures to create a calm and inviting atmosphere throughout the day. Additionally, the meeting rooms are designed as refined, private enclaves that maintain visual continuity with the rest of the branch while ensuring acoustic privacy. These rooms provide comfortable, well-lit settings for personalized client interactions, further elevating the experience and aligning with the branch’s boutique, hospitality-inspired identity.
