Sugar Daddy’s bakery is a local Jordanian brand. The project objective was to develop an interior design that complements the already existing branding by introducing new colors, materials, and textures to the current branding yet maintaining an affinity to a hybrid identity between a neoclassical and a vintage yet modern aesthetic leading to an identity that tries to capture a fairytale bakery.
The intimate 200 sqm Bakery, is planed through a simple zoning method, the entire public area that allows an intimate seating space and private operational zone only accessible by the employees, and a service counter perform as a mediator between the operations and consumption.
The hot pink shop front and signage, as per sugar daddy’s bakery brand, yet the shop location allowed an interesting corner condition allowing two large glass shop fronts, one dedicated for the entrance door and the other is a foldable glass window, allowing the interior seating area to expand to the terrace seamlessly.
The space is inhabited by modern/neoclassical wooden furniture and occasional plants, All the furniture is white in color with a simple floral relief, generous in size allowing a more comfortable seating arrangements, the furniture is curated here for people to be able to socialize for hours, this area expands to the terraced area of the shop that is furnished with a large plant and simple white steel furniture.
The service counter is a mix of wood and glass fridges allowing the products to be exhibited and maintained in their ideal condition that matches the color and style of the furniture.
The bakery is interior walls are rendered in pistachio colors and colorful wallpaper both abstract and floral, that are also complemented with white classical frames, framing vintage bakery advertisement posters and mirrors as well as exhibiting the product of the bakery.
