The Curio Preschool project shapes a 400 m² indoor–outdoor environment into a vibrant, character-driven learning space. The design approach focused on creating a welcoming first impression while reinforcing the preschool’s playful identity through form, color, and material expression.
Externally, the facade combines textured natural stone with soft architectural arches to establish warmth and familiarity at a child-friendly scale. Custom graphic elements and bold signage introduce a sense of curiosity and joy, making the entrance visually engaging and easily recognizable for young users and parents alike. Durable, low-maintenance materials were selected to perform reliably in outdoor conditions while maintaining a refined finish.
Across both indoor and outdoor areas, the design prioritizes continuity and flow, encouraging movement, exploration, and comfort. The result is a cohesive educational environment that balances strong visual character with everyday functionality, supporting both structured learning and playful discovery.
