Situated in Bethlehem, Palestine, Neiroukh residence exhibits a modern house that is in complete harmony with its surrounding natural scenery. The main design idea is to modernize the Palestinian traditional courtyard house offering openness, natural light and an exclusive panoramic view of Bethlehem to all the functional spaces incorporated in the design. The U-shaped building is totally introverted towards a semi-public central terrace with solid facades facing the surrounding undesired context. The architectural stone elevations are sculptured out of the most renowned Nassar stone quarry in Palestine. The stone passion of the owners is meticulously displayed by using various finishes of stone mixed together creating neat facades.
